Murthy Bondada GCE '72 Murthy has been involved with ASCE National Committee on Public Transport. He is a past chair of the organization and is currently serving as Program Chair for the ASCE's Second International Conference on Urban Public Transportation Systems held April 14-18, 2002.
Professor Bernie Byrne PhD '71 Dr. Byrne recently accepted a position at the Vermont Agency of Transportation as Traffic Research Engineer. He manages a staff of 26 and is responsible for the collection, analysis and dissemination of all traffic volume, classification and Weigh-in-Motion(WIM) data for the state of Vermont.
George N. Dorshimer BSE '72, MSE '74 George has become the President of LTK Engineering Services, consulting firm headquartered in the Philadelphia Area with offices in several other cities. LTK performs engineering and planning services for rail transit systems.
Professor Shinya Kikuchi PhD '74 Dr. Kikuchi is a professor at the University of Delaware, and has most recently presented three papers at the Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board in Washington, January 2000. He also gave invited lectures at Kyoto University and Hokkaido University (January 2000) in Japan, and Bari Polytechnic University, Italy, in September 2000. Dr. Kikuchi also presented papers at 7th and 8th Euro Transport Working Workshops in Helsinki (August 2000) and Rome (September 2000).
Frank J. Wilson MSE '76 Frank has become the President of the consulting firm Daniel, Mann, Johnson and Mendenhall in Los Angeles, with offices in several other cities.
Edward D'Alba MSE '77 Ed, President and Chief Executive Officer of Urban Engineers, Inc., has been elected to serve as the Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year for 2002 by the Delaware Valley Engineers Week Council.
Thor Haatveit MSE '80 Formerly the Director of Transportation for the City of Oslo, Thor has been appointed Deputy Director in the Department of Transport and Communications. He is now in charge of Public Transportation for Norway.
Angel Molinero MSE '80 Angel is President of USTRAN Consulting Firm in Mexico, was Co-President of CODATU IX Conference in Mexico, April 2000, and presented a paper "Urban Transportation and Environment."

Formerly Executive Manager of San Francisco BART West Bay/Airport Extensions, ($1.7B construction program), Takis is now Assistant General Manager for Transit System Development of WMATA in Washington, D.C. He is in charge of Engineering and Construction of Capital Projects.

Dr. Harker has become the Dean of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Wharton has been ranked first among business schools in the country in several recent surveys.
Daniel Roth BSE '91 In April 2000, Daniel joined Internet startup firm FreightDesk.com, the leading provider of global cargo management IT solutions to freight forwarders, logistics providers and their customers. Daniel currently lives in London and is planning to do so for a few more years. If any TSEAC members are in the area, e-mail Daniel. He'd be happy to have a pint of ale or bitters.
